Domo Tactical Communications (DTC), the wireless communication specialist will be demonstrating the latest advances of their wireless IP Mesh systems for enabling Robotics and Autonomous System (RAS) operations at DSEI 2017.

Operation of high bandwidth microwave systems is challenging due to many factors including multipath and antenna design. Communication links are often unreliable or insecure, and often difficult to achieve.

DTC’s High Data Rate (HDR) IP Mesh radios enable enhanced range, Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations for Robotic and Autonomous Systems (RAS) through use of COFDM waveforms. DTC’s mission critical solutions secure, share and communicate real-time video, voice and data that enables Shared Situational Awareness (SSA) on land, on sea, in the water and in the air. DTC’s Cutting-edge Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) Mesh radio solutions deliver ultra-low latency, end-to-end encryption and are used globally on-board USV, UAV and UGV platforms to support mobile, long range semi-autonomous (man-in-the-loop) and autonomous operations.

The extended range is made possible by Nodes available up to 5 Watt, deployed together which enable assets to stay connected to the network over long distances as each node acts as a repeater. This means that the network’s range can easily be extended by adding nodes. Any network can be widened even further by integrating other IP bearers such as 4G and satellite communication.

All of this, and more, will be on Stand N6-190 during DSEI 2017. For more information, please visit www.domotactical.com or email solent.info@domotactical.com.
