IDEX 2017, Stand 05-C09: Domo Tactical Communications (DTC), a leader in battle space communications solutions, will feature its next-generation portfolio of modern surveillance technologies at IDEX 2017 in Abu Dhabi from 19-23 February.
Renowned for reliability in the face of the most demanding missions, DTC’s range of tactical battle space surveillance kits, enable mission-critical data and connectivity to be managed in a complete multi-network solution. DTC’s infrastructure ensures success in any strategic scenario by providing commanders with instant situational awareness.
Leading the way at IDEX 2017 is DTC’s next-generation High Bandwidth Phase 5 Mesh (P5) technology, which provides proven high-capacity, multi-domain IP connectivity in challenging environments and sits seamlessly alongside existing public, or private infrastructures. The ability to project a significant bi-directional communications capability, into areas unreachable by existing technologies, is tremendously powerful and can play a pivotal role in surveillance operations.
P5 Mesh software is designed for installation on both dedicated radio platforms and the multi-capable Software Defined Radio (SDR). All P5 platforms offer the benefits of standard Mesh but are also MIMO capable for double data throughput (25Mbps), which makes the P5 particularly suitable for applications where higher data rates are necessary, such as surveillance infrastructures, broadcast, and downlinks.
In addition to having inbuilt HD encoders, DTC’s self-healing P5 Mesh products provide proven non-line-of-sight (NLOS) connectivity that ensure consistent, seamless and secure connectivity for data and video transfer, when the need to stay connected is essential to battlefield dominance. The Phase 5 units are also backwards compatible, designed to enhance, rather than replace existing technologies.
DTC’s surveillance portfolio also includes state-of-the-art body-worn, land, vehicle and air solutions for ground commanders in hostile and demanding environments. These include remote ground sensors, COFDM transmit and receive solutions, and a range of powerful, flexible, and highly deployable IP Mesh NETNodes.
Also on display at IDEX 2017 will be DTC’s new SOLO8 MicroVue HD, a third generation briefcase receiver with an in-built solid state recorder and PTZ control, packaged for tactical video surveillance operations. The SOLO8 MicroVue HD combines the latest generation DTC SOLO HD receiver with two-way diversity provided by a pair of integral down-converters and two fixed antennae in a rapidly deployable briefcase.
All of this, and more, will be available to examine and discuss on stand 05-C09 (UK Pavilion) during IDEX 2017. For more information, please visit www.domotactical.com.
