Simon Martin talks the latest advances in electronic news-gathering and live production on show at IBC 2016, in particular, the announcement that Domo Broadcast will be displaying the wireless camera IP/Telecoms module concept for the first time.
The new module transforms the already feature rich OBTX radio into a class leading ENG transmitter. Based on the DTC SOLO8 Software Defined Radio technology, it enables H.264/COFDM, IP Streaming and 3G/4G connectivity all from the same camera back.
